One of Alabama's premier Veterans Day gatherings.
Each November, roughly 7,000 veterans and family members gather at Cullman Regional Airport in Vinemont for a day of remembrance, aviation heritage and community. Rare warbirds, decorated speakers, living history and flyovers together create an event unlike any other in the Southeast.
Hosted with pride by Cullman Elks Lodge #1609 and made possible by volunteers, veterans and sponsors from across Alabama.

Mike Durant
MH-60 Black Hawk pilot with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Shot down over Mogadishu in 1993 during the mission that would become known as Black Hawk Down. Held captive for 11 days. His story — of survival, honor, and brotherhood — is one of the most powerful firsthand accounts in modern American military history.
